HDLI is a nonprofit Main Street program that is supported by various funding sources. These include the City of Liberty, the Transient Guest Tax TGT, the Historic Downtown Liberty Community Improvement District CID, grants, partners, sponsors, and profits from events and merchandise sales.

We are grateful for the support of the City of Liberty, which provides a significant portion of our funding. The Transient Guest Tax TGT is another source of funding for HDLI. It is a tax on hotel and motel rooms that is used to support tourism-related activities in the community.

The Historic Downtown Liberty Community Improvement District CID is a special taxing district that provides additional funding for HDLI. The CID is funded by sales tax and property owners within the district, and the funds are used to improve the downtown area.

In addition to these sources, we also receive grants from various organizations and partner with local businesses, sponsors, and Friends of HDLI to support our mission. We also generate revenue through events and merchandise sales.
