Paemon and Ashley Aramjoo share their experience working together at their own law firm

Aramjoo law firm was founded in 2014 and is owned by both Paemon and Ashley. Over the years, they’ve worked on thousands of cases, and it’s taken a lot of effort to reach that accomplishment. They’ve gone through years of schooling, persistent dedication, and worked long hours. Facing many challenges along the way, however, the best part for both of them has been being able to do it all together.
Paemon and Ashley have been together for twenty years. And their story started all the way back in high school. Paemon was dropping off a mutual friend and noticed Ashley. He asked to use her phone and called himself instead so that Ashley had his number to use later. From there, they became high school sweethearts and have had each other’s backs since. They both went to Maplewoods together, then Northwest, and finally came to KC for law school together. Helping each other study and pass the bar exam along their shared journey.

Ashley said she had always known she wanted to be a lawyer ever since she was a little girl, while Paemon, on the other hand, had always had an entrepreneurial spirit, making Ashley the reason they both went into law, but Paemon the reason they started their own firm. A perfect pair that worked well together.

“I think anybody can go out and offer services or products. But to do it in a way that you’re providing a quality service as you scale a business has been a unique challenge that I think we’ve both been learning about.” Ashley said.

Which is right, you can tell they both are so passionate about what they do, and being able to work together on cases makes it all more connected and special, knowing they care and are focused on the community as well. Paemon and Ashley have two kids together, Griffin and Daisy. Being partners in the real world and the law world.

“It’s so nice to have this familiarity and understanding of what each other is going through to, one, jump into a conversation and appreciate what we’re talking about, but also then to move forward in a consistent direction. I think we’ve been strongest in our relationship. We’ve been aligned in all regards.
Parenting, business, personal. We just make a kick butt team together, so it’s fun.” Paemon said.

So while this law firm was first built on commitment and hard work, it lasted because of trust and partnership in one another. As both life and legal partners, Paemon and Ashley continue to grow their firm with the same determination and work that brought them together and started it. An inspirational couple to see, one you would definitely want defending you in court.
