15 Years of Treasures and Community

October 15th marked a special anniversary for Main Street Goods and Goodies as they celebrated their 15th year here since opening. Owned by Gail Dugdale, this shop has a world of treasures for antique lovers and vintage buyers. Offering a wide variety of select jewelry, artwork, silverware, and more. For over 50 years, Gail has invested in antiquing, and it was 4 years ago when her granddaughter, Jordan, joined her.

Adding her own mystique to this historic charm, Gail’s granddaughter, Jordan, has her own section of “Mythos and Magic” from within the shop. Jordan specializes in her own crystals, incense, and bracelets. Bringing her own magical flair and wonder.

Jordan’s mom and dad are also a big part of downtown. With her mom being the owner of Green Life Farm, selling at the farmers’ market, growing her own microgreens, and acting as the Vice President of HDLI (Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc.), while her dad owns Heritage Hall, the event space on Kansas Street. Keeping the family very involved and busy.

“I love the sense of community that’s in the downtown. I like that if there’s ever an issue or if I need something, usually I can just ask. This community cares a lot about the downtown area and keeping it alive and thriving.” – Jordan Said
This anniversary is more than an accomplishment of business longevity, but a celebration for their family as a whole. All working to make downtown special and inviting. Bringing their own creative ideas, new and old.
