Chocolate Walk 2026

Indulge your sweet tooth at the Third Annual Chocolate Walk! This popular event is returning after selling out last year, offering an experience for chocolate lovers of all kinds.

Local businesses will have an array of chocolate-themed treats, from edible creations to unique non-edible chocolate items. Chocolate Walk is the perfect event for you and your family!

• General admission: $20
• Your ticket includes: a gift tote bag to collect all your treats and an event stamp card to guide your chocolate-filled adventure.
• Check-in Opens: 4:00 PM at the Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc. office (11 N. Gallatin St, Liberty, MO 64068)
• Admission Closes: 6:00 PM – be sure to check in before then!

DISCLAIMER – FOOD ALLERGIES

This event involves sampling various chocolate treats. Some of the treats may contain common allergens such as nuts, dairy, and gluten. If you have a food allergy, please take the necessary precautions when sampling the chocolate treats. We encourage you to bring any necessary medication, such as an EpiPen, and to inform the merchants of your allergy before sampling treats. Businesses will provide a list of ingredients for each treat at the event, so please review before sampling. We want all participants to have a safe and enjoyable experience at the Chocolate Walk, so please take the necessary steps to ensure your safety if you have a food allergy.

VENDORS

We do NOT accept vendors for this event. We caution all vendors to be wary of any such solicitations and always to contact the event organizer directly to inquire about becoming a vendor. Many of the businesses host pop-up vendors. You are welcome to reach out to them.

Tickets
Attendees of all ages will need to purchase a ticket. The event will feature a mix of packaged chocolates to take home, non-edible chocolate, and treats to be enjoyed on-site. Tickets $20. Day-of ticket sales, pending availability, for an extra $10 per ticket ($30). 

Accessibility Notice
Tasting stops are hosted inside a variety of participating businesses. Please note that some locations involve stairs or upper-level spaces and may not be fully ADA accessible.

Dog-Friendly Policy 
Dogs are welcome in Downtown Liberty and in some participating shops during Let’s Wine About Winter. Please keep these guidelines in mind:

• Check with individual shops before entering, as some may have their own pet policies.
• Dogs should remain leashed and well-behaved at all times.
• Please be considerate of others and clean up after your pet.

Parking Information

There are 2-hour parking spaces available in front of shops around the Square and along nearby side streets. For longer stays, public parking lots are available at:

• Kansas & Gallatin Street
• Kansas & Missouri Streets

Handicapped parking is limited around the Square.

Processing Fee Policy
A processing fee will be applied to all ticket purchases at checkout. This fee covers transaction costs and is not included in the ticket price.

No Refunds
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for ticket purchases. However, we are happy to assist with ticket transfers if needed.

Weather
The event will proceed rain, shine, or even snow unless extreme conditions pose safety concerns. If severe weather—such as thunderstorms, snowstorms, or other hazardous conditions—is forecasted, the event may be postponed or canceled. No refunds will be given if the event is postponed. Event organizers will monitor weather forecasts closely and provide updates through:

• Social media accounts
• Email newsletters (if applicable)
• Text messages (if applicable)

By attending Historic Downtown Liberty, Inc. events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including websites, social media, news, and advertising. Your presence at the event constitutes your release and waiver of any claims related to the use of your image, voice, or likeness, including but not limited to privacy, publicity, defamation, or copyright claims. All recordings are made based on this consent.
